Presentations

This lesson teaches you the language you need to deliver a clear, professional presentation in English. You will learn the vocabulary and grammar necessary to present effectively.

Practise the complete set of phrases for every stage of a presentation: opening with a greeting, your name, and a clear aim statement; guiding your audience through the body using phrases like 'This slide shows' and 'This is important because'; making transitions with 'Let's move on to the next slide'; and closing with a summary, a thank-you, and an invitation for questions.

For grammar, the lesson covers 'I'll' for announcements and openings and 'Let's' for transitions, two structures that are simple but essential for sounding confident and organised in front of an audience.

Whether you present internally to your team or externally to clients, the language in this lesson will help you structure your delivery and sound more professional from the very first slide.
