Built by teachers, for learners

Lingua Agents was created by Jan Mathijs Janssen, a language teacher with years of experience teaching Dutch and English. In class, he kept seeing the same thing: learners understand the grammar and the vocabulary, but freeze when it is time to actually speak. Most do not need more theory; they need more practice, and a safe place to make mistakes before using the language for real.

That is why Lingua Agents was built. Not to replace good teaching, but to give learners far more speaking practice, more structure, and more chances to use the language actively, whenever they need it.

We also believe good teaching should not be a luxury. A full course with Lingua Agents costs about the same as a single hour of private tuition, which puts real language learning within reach of far more people.

Our approach

Every part of Lingua Agents follows one simple idea: you improve when you actively use the language. Speaking, listening, making mistakes, getting feedback, and trying again. Our courses follow a clear teaching structure; first you discover useful language, then you practise it step by step, and then you use it in realistic tasks. The AI makes that possible any time, while the teaching method keeps it focused.

• Conversation Coach: a flexible AI partner for extra speaking practice, from everyday chat to professional situations, image-based speaking, and document tasks.
• Explainers & Exercises: clear explanations and practice for pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, listening, and reading, to review a topic or study on your own.
• Live Classes: one-to-one and small-group lessons with real teachers, online or in person, on their own or alongside the AI tools.
