The Language Of Meetings Part 2

Part 2 builds directly on the vocabulary and grammar from Part 1. You will learn new words and phrases that come up constantly in real meetings, from taking the minutes and seconding a proposal to reaching a consensus and wrapping up. This is the language that makes the difference between following a meeting and actively participating in it.

The grammar focus is modal verbs for suggestions and requests. Could, should, shall, and might are the tools professionals use to make suggestions, propose group actions, and respond to proposals without sounding abrupt or informal.
