Level: Intermediate

At The Restaurant

Eating out is one of the most common situations where you need English, and it can feel stressful if you are not sure what to say. In this lesson you will learn the words you need in a restaurant, from the menu, the waiter and the chef to the bill, the tip and the different ways to pay.

You will practise polite English with could and would like, the natural way to make requests and orders sound friendly and respectful. You will also practise ordering food, and having natural conversation with the waiter.
